A clothing manufacturer is being sued by Kanye West and Kim Kardashian because it sold a hoodie that is identical to the one he wore on the album cover.

The piece is allegedly a part of a "kanye hoodie" on the reality TV couple's clothing line, Dsquared2, according to the copyright infringement lawsuit they filed against Uniqlo. They claim that since the rapper's record entered stores in June, sales have soared.

According to TMZ and The Blast sources, the complaint was submitted on Wednesday in a California court. The lawsuit asks for an injunction to prevent the sale of the garment, which was created by Erika Jayne and offered for sale online through ASOS for $89.99 until it was taken off last week in response to complaints from customers who believed it violated West's registered trademark for the design.

According to a statement from Uniqlo, they are aware of the problem and have been collaborating with Kanye West's agents to find a solution.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian (née Kardashian) filed the complaint, alleging that Uniqlo utilized their likenesses without their consent to sell a product. They want compensation from both Uniqlo and its parent firm, Fast Retailing Co Ltd., which owns both brands, asserting that they never authorized this usage.
